Includes listings for children's residential and nonresidential summer camps, and specific types of camps, such as academic, arts, self-improvement, religious, sports, and special needs. The American Camping Association is a 100-year-old community of camp professionals that accredits camps which meet some 300 standards it sets for health, safety, and program quality. One can search through over 2,000 camps using many criteria, including location, special needs, affiliation, activities, and cost. The site includes information on camps both for children and adults, camp management resources, and a job center.
