"The Department of State's International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCSR) [issued each March] ... is the United States Government's country-by-country two volume report that describes the efforts to attack all aspects of the international drug trade, chemical control, money laundering and financial crimes." Documents include the General Counterdrug Intelligence Plan, maps of high intensity drug trafficking areas including facts and strategies for each city mentioned, an anti-drug media campaign, a substance abuse treatment facility locator, and funding opportunities for communities to combat illegal drug use. There are also links to state and local agencies.

Brief caution about possession and use of illegal drugs in foreign countries. "Every year, several hundred Americans are arrested abroad on drug charges. Persons caught with illegal drugs in a foreign country are subject to the drug laws of that country, not those of the U.S.; as always, ignorance of the law is no excuse."
