LII is under the general management of The Califa Library Group. LII editor Jennifer English is the team liaison to Califa. Other LII consultants include Wendy Hyman, Senior Editor; Pat Fell, Special Projects Cataloger; Jennifer English and Maria Brandt, Associate Editors; and Charlotte Bagby, Weeder.

While LII's paid staff are responsible for the collection, we have had several dozen volunteers from libraries in California, and they contributed greatly to the development of this project.
