Partner with LII Is your state interested in partnering with LII? It's mutual. LII began as a California project, but in 2002 we began a successful partnership with the Washington State Library. We added, organized, published, and maintained websites of interest to Washingtonians. This partnership meant that Washington leveraged LII's rich content base, popular announcement services, and well-deserved reputation for high-quality information at a fraction of the cost and effort it would take to develop a state-wide portal. Our new system makes it feasible for us to have more regional partners, and our attractive new design makes our site one you can be proud to associate with. If you are undecided, we can consult with you on the costs associated with establishing and maintaining a statewide portal. We have nearly fifteen years' experience running LII. If your state is interested in partnering with us, drop us a note through our contact form, and we will follow through. LII can also provide custom content services. We receive funding to provide services to California Digital Library. In 2003, LII created over 350 records describing websites created by University of California campuses. We maintain these items and regularly export these items to CDL in a special XML set. If your content needs match ours, we can come up with a "win-win" proposal that will be affordable and advantageous for both organizations. |
