This program is "designed to reduce the incidence and prevalence of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and tinnitus (ringing in the ear) by changing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of school-aged children." Find information on the mechanisms of hearing and hearing loss, supporting research, games and activities about dangerous sounds, and outreach and educator resources. A collaboration between researchers, museum educators, civic leaders, and Oregon and Southwest Washington schools.
