The Sardine Run Association view detail comment email this

"Every year, millions of sardines leave the area around the southern Cape coast, and journey 1,000km along South Africa's Wild Coast to KwaZulu-Natal waters. As this unimaginably vast shoal makes its way, predators like sharks, dolphins, seals, gannets and humans alike gather for this short-lived feeding frenzy." This site features images of this annual happening and brief information about protecting the animals involved from over-fishing and tourism activities.
