This tool "allows you to generate maps of your geographic area that contain environmental information stored in EPA's Envirofacts Warehouse. The type of environmental information includes: Superfund sites, drinking water, toxic and air releases, hazardous waste, and water discharge permits. You can also view this information in context by adding map features to your map," such as churches, schools, and hospitals. Includes a FAQ.

Website for the EPA's "list of national priorities among the known releases or threatened releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, or contaminants throughout the United States and its territories." On this site "you can locate NPL sites, check their cleanup progress, and get information on new and proposed NPL sites." Details about sites can be viewed through a U.S. map or a database of Superfund sites searchable by numerous factors (such as contaminants).
