"A digital library of 18th and 19th Century journals." Four English Universities have scanned, indexed, and made available twenty-year runs of six different British magazines from the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Browsable, or searchable by date or keyword, the actual texts of these magazines are available, but as images (not text), and are slow to load. Journals include: Annual Register , Gentleman's Magazine , Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society (eighteenth century); and Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine , Notes and Queries , and The Builder (nineteenth century).
