Established in 1991, this 15-year clinical study focuses on the effects of hormone replacement therapy (HRT), diet, and calcium and vitamin D supplements on heart disease, breast and colorectal cancer, and osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. This Web site provides an overview on the program, plus updates and mid-study observations. Also includes preliminary information about the impact of estrogen-only HRT on women who have already had hysterectomies.
