This site documents the life and death of the International Auxiliary Language Association (IALA), an American organization that flourished from 1924 to 1951, and the associated Interlingua Institute, which was dissolved in 2000. The IALA was founded to promote and develop an international language. Features a history and a discussion of why the Interlingua Institute ceased.
