Websites presented in alphabetical order Approved Holiday Cottage Guide On your next trip to England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man, go beyond the traditional bed and breakfast and get to know the locals by booking a country cottage, a farmhouse, or even a castle. This site features over 2000 Tourist Board approved properties, mostly in country or village settings, available by the week. Called "self-catering" in Great Britain, these accommodations can be searched by town or county or browsed using drop down menus or by clicking on a map.
