There are also historic and contemporary photographs of each mission, sketches of mission life, annotated links to related online resources, and a History of Mission Music with sound clips. In 1992, the Jesuit Oregon Province Archives were transferred to the Foley Center Library at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington State. This page describes the collection, which "will be particularly valuable for researchers of Native American languages and ethnology, of early Northwest/Alaska settlement and mission histories, and of regional ecclesiastical history." Includes descriptions of the collection, including manuscripts, photo archives, records from Jesuit mission houses, and other documents. Searchable.

Whitman Mission: National Historic Site Washington view detail comment email this

This site from the National Park Service (NPS) contains the entire text of an NPS handbook by Erwin N. Thompson on the Whitman Mission and its founders, Marcus and Narcissa Whitman. The mission, which is near Walla Walla, Washington state, was founded in 1836 in what was then the Oregon Territory. The site includes photographs, drawings, links, and a detailed account of the massacre at the Waiilatpu mission.
