This site enables you to find a wide range of sounds on the Internet. Sounds are found in the popular AIFF, AU, and WAV file formats. Most sounds are quite short (from approximately two to six seconds long). Some categories are animals, birds, insects, musical instruments, nature and people, television and movies, and vehicle sounds. Or you can type in a word of your choice. There is a Copyright Policy section which states that the site "does not offer advice on fair use of these files."
