A handy reference to this somewhat arbitrary list of 100 "top movie songs of all time." Lists song and movie names, and rankings. Also find all 400 songs nominated by the American Film Institute. No sound files included. Criteria and selection methodology are unclear. An online companion to an AFI television show first broadcast in June, 2004.

Founded by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II to administer and promote "entertainment copyrights through stage productions, orchestral and vocal performances and music publishing," this site also provides production requirements, musical numbers, and discography information on dozens of Broadway and film musicals. Song title searches produce detailed lists of authorized recordings, such as nearly two hundred versions of "White Christmas." Includes brief biographies of composers and writers, as well as show plot synopses.
