The purpose of this museum in Cincinnati, Ohio, "is to preserve, archive and display a historical collection of signs. ... The Museum will also document and survey the products and equipment utilized in the design and manufacture of signs." The site features images of selected signs from the collection, including gold leaf glass signs, neon signs, and plastic signs. Also includes biographical information about industry leaders, articles, and links to related sites.

Love railroads? This site is "dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of American Railroading." The site contains a history of railroading in the United States, images of the museum holdings (diesel locomotives), a library and archive, and links to other resources. Searchable. This is the oldest railroad museum in the United States and is affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution. LII Record of the Month for November, 2003.

This museum houses an extensive collection of the wares produced in East Liverpool, Ohio, "the city long known as 'America's Crockery City' and 'The Pottery Capitol of the World.'" The site features an essay about "Lotus Ware," a fine porcelain made in the United States, and a list of the many East Liverpool pottery district manufacturers, distributors, and decorators.
