Best known for her 1992 challenge of the ban on homosexuals serving in the military, Grethe Cammermeyer has been a nurse, a colonel, a candidate for Congress, an author, and a human rights activist. This site presents her biography, introduces her family, and addresses political, military, health, and gay issues. It includes Web links, a message board, and a place for service members to submit their stories. Cammermeyer lives in Washington state.
