This site contains information about the current year's theme and a "Resource Guide and Activity Booklet" featuring rules and deadlines for poster and speech contests, tips for promoting school bus safety, and community resources. Information about the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) School Bus Safety Program. The Web site has general information on bus safety, guidelines for occupant protection, federal vehicle safety standards, and links to related resources. A special children's section has a few brochures aimed at children and an article on transporting preschool aged children in buses.
