A calendar of storytelling events, classes, and workshops as well as a page of swap groups (informal storytelling groups) in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. SAAC also lists information about other storytelling festivals in California and the West, with a few listings for national and international festivals, and has a nicely annotated page of links to other storytelling organizations, home pages of storytellers, and other resources on the Web.

The Tellabration! program facilitated by the National Storytelling Network, "is a worldwide benefit evening of storytelling. It creates a network of storytelling enthusiasts bonded together in spirit at the same time and on the same weekend" (usually the Saturday night before Thanksgiving). Find Tellabrations in your area, learn how to host a Tellabration, register a Tellabration you are hosting, or read about past Tellabrations. Past participants range from schools and libraries to individuals and nonprofits.
