As a governmental agency, RTÉ is responsible for the production of English and Irish Gaelic radio and television broadcasts that are transmitted throughout Ireland. Most of the content of RTÉ's Web site provides information on the agency and its current and future programming. The Web site also provides links to Real Audio files of several of RTÉ's radio and television programmes including the news.
