July 2005 press release from the University of California (UC) Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) that confirms that "biotypes of horseweed have evolved that are unaffected by the most commonly used herbicide -- glyphosate." Horseweed is considered a "particularly sinister vegetative foe" because it "is difficult to pull. Mowing makes the problem worse. ...
