The Clerc Center, located at Gallaudet University, aims "to improve the quality of education for deaf and hard of hearing children and youth from birth through age 21." The Center operates demonstration schools and outreach services focused on three priority areas: literacy, family involvement, and transition to postsecondary education and employment.
