National Novel Writing Month view detail comment email this

"National Novel Writing Month [NaNoWriMo] is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30." Includes a history ("The very first NaNoWriMo took place in July, 1999, in the San Francisco Bay Area."), information about participating in this activity, a list of authors (with a current word count and excerpt), a discussion forum, podcast (WrimoRadio), and even a countdown clock.
