Details about the Ohio home of President James A. Garfield, whose presidency was "cut short by assassination [in 1881 and] lasted just 200 days." The home was named Lawnfield "because of the wide expanse of lawn on which they [reporters] literally camped out during [Garfield's presidential] campaign."
