This organization, an affiliate of the American Library Association, addresses issues of concern to library support staff personnel, such as "technical education, continuing education, certification, job description uniformity, and ... gaining recognition and respect" for library/media technicians. The site includes a calendar of events, list of chapters, bibliographies about library and support staff issues (most updated in 2003), links to job postings, and related information. Some resources are limited to members.
