"Tasting a ton of wines" in the Sonoma, California, wine country inspired a Seattle couple to create this Perl script generator of "silly random tasting notes." Users may select between "normal-silly" and "extra-silly" options to produce such descriptive gems as a Barbera that "reminds one of fir, spiney, brackish plum and forceful mocha" (normal) or a Zinfandel with "aromas of skim milk, melancholy pulpy orange juice and bashful gasoline" (extra silly).
